He is survived by: his children, Elpiniki Niki Protopsaltis, Evangelina Lilika Stratigos (John) and Elias Protopsaltis; his grandchildren, Adam Angelas, Dimitri Angelas, Eleni Stratigos, Alexander Angelas, Demetrios Stratigos, Kel Sumstad, Renna Protopsaltis, Demetrios Protopsaltis and Olen Protopsaltis; his father Elias Protopsaltis; his siblings, Alexis Protopsaltis, Mary Argyropoulos (Protopsaltis), Kyriaki Stoeffen (Protopsaltis), Elly Pangis (Protopsaltis) and Thalia Johns (Protopsaltis); and his nephews, Apostolos Johns and Elias Argyropoulos. He is also survived by nieces, nephews.
