“This image of Curtis K and Richard I took in 2011 the Rainbow Drive-Inn in HI. I first met Curtis at the Hawaiian State AA conference in 2001. Though I live in Austin, Texas, Curtis and I remained close buddies and I would often call to share our happenings before he went to work near midnight. I remember Curtis being generous with time and money, great sense of humor, and he loved to eat. When in HI, he always had me over to visit with his family. One day at a time, until we meet again, Curtis.”

Kai had spoken with him during Christmas when he was in Hawaii visiting family. We were planning to get together once COVID situations loosened up.
