She was predeceased by: her parents, Sakichi Takao and Masao Takao; her husband James Adachi (Jim); and her brother Taul Takao. She is survived by: her siblings, Elihu Takao (Ed) and Kayko Iyemura (Kay); her daughters, Shari Gee (Ken) of Castro Valley and Tami Adachi (Lee) of Redwood City; her grandchildren, Matthew Gee and Caitlyn Gee; her siblings-in-law, Doris Takao and Akio Adachi (Shin); and her nieces and nephews, Laurie Takao Nothoff (Charlie), Renee Seaman (Fred), Karin Iyemura (Dan), Adriane Bates (Eric), Tracey Okabe-Yamamura (Rodney), Glenn Iyemura (Evangeline), Alan Iyemura, Kenneth Takao (Katie), Robert Adachi, Craig Okabe (Debbie) and Jeff Adachi (Irma).

The family requests that donations be made to the San Lorenzo Japanese Christian Church, the and the Buena Vista United Methodist Church, Alameda.
