She was predeceased by: her parents, Pedro Laxamana and Jovita Retizos Laxamana (Laguna). She is survived by: her husband Eliseo B. Castro; her child Raymund Castro (Renessa); her grandchildren, David, Sean and Kaylivia; her daughter Anna Liza Wong (Andrew); her grandchildren, Ian and Alyse; her sister Monina Padama; her sister-in-law Cecilia Retizos Bliss; her siblings, Armando (Helen Laxamana), Gilberto (Yoly Laxamana), Sonia (Fernando Rondilla), Octavio (Conchita Laxamana) and Edison Retizos; and her brother-in-law Jun Padama.
Viewing will be held on Friday, March 7th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM. A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, March 8th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:30 AM at the Chapel of the Chimes (32992 Mission Blvd., Hayward, CA 94544).
