He is survived by: his parents, Frank Shimohara and Rushie Shimohara; his siblings, Koji and Nancy Shimohara; his wife Evelyn Shimohara; his sons, Kevin (Maria) and Cary Shimohara; and his grandchildren, Tyler, Sean, Peyton, Kaitlyn and Chase Shimohara. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews.
