He was predeceased by: his parents, Alfred Leivas and Katherine Leivas; his grandparents, Tony and Mary Ashman; his aunt Nida Thompson; his uncle John Ashman; and his brother Charlie Leivas.
He is survived by: his wife Juanita Leivas (Galaz); his children, Evelyn (Uchiyama) and Alfred; his sons-in-law, Michael Uchiyama and Bradley Jacobson; his grandchildren, Elaine Veronica Rodriguez Enriquez and Eric Uchiyama; and his great grandchild Noah Enriquez.
