With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Wayne James in Hanford, California, born in Bakersfield, California, who passed away on June 9, 2020 at the age of 78. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Robert James and Etta James; his wife Berniece Beilage; his daughters, Laura Doty (Benjamin) and Lavon Head (Meik); his grandchildren, Ryan Doty, Carlin Doty (Lesley), Garrett Clark and Keaton Head (Claire); his stepgrandchildren, Kristofer Head and Karen Head (Bill); and his great grandchild Russel Doty.
Only a small family gathering, no memorial service, will be held at this time due to the pandemic.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the RC Baker Memorial Museum for the upkeep of the Richfield Station at 297 W Elm Street, Coalinga, Ca. 93210 or to your favorite charity.
