She was predeceased by: her parents, Cecil Banegas and Lydia Littlejohn; her siblings, John "Dodo" Banegas and Delores "Dee" Simek (Robert Bueno); and her children, Helen Haley and Paul Casarez.
She is survived by: her granddaughter Mindy Kent; and her children, Johnny Casarez (Eva), Lawrence Casarez (Mary) and Diana Alvarez (Jess). She is also survived by her many grandchildren, great grandchildren, great-great grandchildren and great-great-great grandchildren.
