She was predeceased by: her parents, Francisco Rivera and Micaela Martinez; her husband Raymond Garza; her daughter Susanna Juhnke; and her brothers, Pablo Rivera (Spouse-Eutikia), Jacinto Rivera (Spouse-Angelina) and Sylvestre Rivera.

She is survived by: her sons, Raymond Garza and Robert Garza (Regina Haney); her grandchildren, Royston Garza, Matthew Garza, Jessica Harless, Aleah Juhnke, Celina Romero and Aaron Juhnke; and her siblings, Simon Rivera (Dominga), Narciso Rivera (Spouse-Evangelina), Juan Rivera (Spouse-Gail), Valentina Pena (Spouse-Armando), Antonia Rivera (Spouse-Willie), Gomesindo Rivera, Estevan Rivera, Guadalupe Rivera and Alberto Rivera (Spouse-Anita). She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
