He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Frank Vaz and Maria Vaz; his former spouse Osvalda Brazil; his wife Ozzie; his daughters, Karen Rodrigues (Paulo) and Sharon Chavez (Fred); and his grandchildren, Justin, Austin, Rachel Rodrigues, Lindsey, Ashley and Emily Chavez.
