“Page 2 of 5 with feeling after the masters like daVinci and Michelangelo, and to study Matisse, Picasso, Reubens and other great painters. You could see that same energy in her marvelous work. Soon she put the word out that she needed someone to clean her Greene St loft. Right away I let her know I'd do it and voila, welcome to Jane's world. I was living on the Upper East Side back then and commuting to Jane's in SoHo. Jane was making stingray wall sculptures then, modern looking bas reliefs.”
