Gail Wells Funderburg Obituary

On September 15, 2021, Gail Jean Wells Funderburg passed away at age 74.

Gail was born on July 27, 1947 in Long Beach, CA to Mark Stephan & Thelma Christie. She was one of four children. On May 28, 1966, she married Willis Wells in Los Angeles, CA and then resided in Hacienda Heights, CA for most of her life. They had two sons, Kelly and Stacy. Gail was then married to Jerry Funderburg from 1988 until Jerry passed in March 2020. She worked for Northrop Grumman for many years, and retired in 1998.

Gail enjoyed trips to Vegas, bowling in her league, various types of sewing projects and spending time with her grandson James. She was a wonderful wife, mother and grandmother.

Gail is survived by her sons Kelly Wells and Stacy Wells. Stacy is married to Tamara Wells and they have one son, James Wells. Gail is also survived by her brother Frank Mantz and sister Mary Champagne.
