She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank Souza Moniz and Angie Reis Moniz Costa; her husband William Mendonca; the father of her children William Mendonca; her former husband Harold Dutra; her siblings, Rosalie Oliveira (Ralph) and Frank Melvin Moniz (Shirley); and her sister-in-law Nancy Costa.
She is survived by: her sons, William (JoDean), David (Alberta), Michael (Elaine) and Gary Sr. (Cathleen); her grandchildren, Christine Johnson (Steve), Robert Mendonca (Karen) and Gary Mendonca Jr. (Cindy Batista); her great grandchildren, Natalie (Jeff), Matthew Mendonca, Dylan and Colin Johnson; her brother Walter Costa Jr.; her nephew Walter Costa Ill; her niece Diana Costa; her great-nephews, Nathaniel and Joshua; her great-niece Sarah; and her goddaughter Debbie Borba (Bernie).
