He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, John Bettencourt and Albertina Bettencourt; and his siblings, Marie McClure of Alameda, Betty Mello of Gustine, Joe Bettencourt of Monterey and Albert Bettencourt (Sherry) of Carmel. He was also cherished by numerous nieces and nephews.
