He was predeceased by: his parents, Mary Salsa and George Salsa; and his brother Frank Salsa. He is survived by: his wife Carol Goman Salsa; his sister Mary Ann McGroarty (Craig); his children, George Salsa (Shannon), Susan Salsa, Michael Salsa (Tiffany) and Albert Salsa (Krisiey); and his grandchildren, Nathan Toomey, Delaney Toomey, Carra Ford, Alexandria Salsa, Carina Ford, Michael Salsa, Kalista Salsa and Angelina Salsa.
