He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Freitas and Dorothy Freitas Shepard; and his stepmother Janette Freitas. He is survived by: his wife Joann Freitas; his son Nicholas Freitas; and his siblings, Jim Freitas, Rick Cardoza, Joann Mellinger and Kathy Freitas.
