He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred Howell and Doris Howell; his grandmother Clara Jones; and his siblings-in-law, James and Joyce Craig.
He is survived by: his wife Deborah; his children, Denise Howell, Anthony Craig (Allison), Brittany Cuevas (Raul) and Cota Howell Jr. (Katey); his granddaughter Elyse Colette Cuevas; and his siblings, Terrence Howell and Paula Howell-Newberry.
