He was predeceased by: his grandson Shane Trovao. He is survived by: his wife Judith Ann Trovao of Gustine; and his children, Steve Trovao (Lisa) of Turlock, Susan La Barbera of Sacramento and Debbie Mull (Bronco) of Livingston. He is also survived by ten grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
