He was predeceased by: his parents, Garnet Funkhouser and Juanita Funkhouser; and his brothers, Tom Funkhouser of Santa Maria, Salem of Santa Maria and Ed Funkhouser of Santa Maria.
He is survived by: his siblings, Peggy Funkhouser Ayala, Teria Funkhouser of Guadalupe, Jackie Funkhouser Tanner, Sam Funkhouser, Ted Funkhouser, Santa Maria, Michael Funkhouser and Jonithan Funkhouser. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
