He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred Maas and Janet Maas; and his brother Douglas "Butch" Maas. He is survived by: his siblings, Cathy Peterson and Ken Maas (Laurel); his niece Sherra Cowan (Mike); his great-niece Haley Cowan; his niece Peyton Maas; and his nephews, Shawn Hill (Julie) and Trevor Maas.
In lieu of flowers, donations in honor of David can be made to the Shriner's Medical Center in Pasadena.
