It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Martha May Wright (Gridley, California), born in Hemet, California, who passed away on December 30, 2019, at the age of 97, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Elfriede Reeves and Earl Reeves; her former husband Virgil Burks; and her siblings, Dorothy, Dolly, Grace Hill and Robert Reeves.
She is survived by: her husband Norval Wright; her children, Larry Burks (Lois) of Gridley, Loretta Carroll (Charlie) of Chico, Dianna Fargen (Ron) and Jimmie Burks (Carolyn) of Manteca; and her stepchildren, Kathy Leistner (Dan), Patty Renda, Teresa Terpening (Steve) and Dennis Wright (Vivian). She is also survived by seven grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
