He is survived by: his wife Evangelina Chavez; and his children, Jose Chavez (Amelia), Juvencio Chavez (Olga), Gabino Chavez (Silvia), Raul Chavez (Irma), Lupe Chavez (Jose), Adela Chavez (Nick), Ismael, Dalila Chavez, Eva Zavala (Emilio) and Veronica Gonzalez (Gerardo). He is also survived by 22 grandchildren; and 18 great grandchildren.
