He was predeceased by: his parents, Dorothy Nielson and Carlo Nielson; his siblings, Shirley and Michael; and his grandson Tyler.
He is survived by: his wife Julee; his children, Kelle Hall (Brad) of Redding and Sean Neilson (Franca) of Grass Valley; and his granddaughter Nina Vorhaus (Connor) of Austin, Texas. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
