She was predeceased by: her parents, Dudley Cook and Marcia Cook; her brother David Cook; her son Sam Blanchard; and her close friend Liz Lowrey.
She is survived by: her husband David Blanchard of Grass Valley; her sons, James Blanchard, Steve Blanchard (Michelle) and Ken Blanchard (Lisa Shea); her daughter-in-law Sarah Blanchard; her grandchildren, Evan, Julia and Charles; and her goddaughters, Anne McGuinness and Diana Mendez. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
