It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Charlene Kay Bjerke Hogan of Grass Valley, California, who passed away on February 3, 2023, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Dr. Richard Hogan; her sons, Anthony and Michael Burns; and her father Roy Bjerke. She is survived by: her mother June Bjerke; her son Todd Burns; her stepdaughter Melissa Hogan Klein; her son-in-law Daniel; her stepson Matthew Hogan; her daughter-in-law Ivett; her grandchildren, Alicia Burns Brandau (Lucas), Cassandra Burns Wesley (André), Margot, Rémy Klein, James, Lily Hogan and Alexander Burns; and her great grandchild Dimitri Brandau. She is also survived by the friends and family.
In lieu of flowers, she wished for donations be made to Lupus research or to the Alzheimer's Association.
