It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Barbara Kathleen Smith of Grass Valley, California, born in San Francisco, California, who passed away on June 12, 2022, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Jack Roland and Gwen Roland; and her husband Art Smith. She is survived by: her children, Terry Best, Jill Armstrong (Steve), Cheryl Enders, Paul Smith (Trina) and Sandy Smith; her grandchildren, Paul, Bob, Ethan Best, Trevor Armstrong (Kathryn), Garrett Armstrong (Alysia), Vanessa, Jeremy Smith and Lauren Bell (Ricky); her great grandchildren, Ainsley, Arthur and Stevie; her siblings, Marilyn King and John; her sister-in-law Teresa Roland; and her close friend Meredy Keller. She is also survived by nephews and nieces.
Donations may be made in her memory to the Parkinson's Foundation or Living Well Medical Clinic.
