He was predeceased by: his parents, Benard "Ben" Rippentrop and Alice (Ites); his siblings, Ray, Alvie, Tom Rippentrop, Genavive Davis, Onie Wilner, Dorothy Wilner, Ida Haugen and Ruthie Rippentrop; his wife Lois Borelli; and his daughter-in-law Kelly Rippentrop.

He is survived by: his children, Robert Rippentrop (Helen) of Blue Springs, MO, David Rippentrop (Kelly) of Vancouver, WA, Kevan Rippentrop (Katie) of Los Altos, CA and Judith (Fred); his grandchildren, Nicole Roy, Michelle Blackburn, Cort Rippentrop, Brad Rippentrop, Bryan Rippentrop, Berlyn Gugale, Payton Rippentrop, Ryan Rippentrop, Jamie Mazure, Jason Mazure and Ben Mazure; and his sister-in-law LaVon Rippentrop. He is also survived by five great grandchildren and two more great grandchildren.
