She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry L. Hooks and Julia M. Deaton (Edgar Oppermann); and her son Craig Duren. She is survived by: her close friend Deloris; and her children, Melinda Day, Dawn Ward, Fawn Sisson, Tom English and Robert English. She is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
