It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joanne Marie Burress of Granite Bay, California, who passed away on September 1, 2021, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Gloria Gehring and James Gehring. She is survived by: her husband Craig C. Burress; her children, Craig S. Burress of Roseville, Erin Hom (Randall) of Sacramento and Coleen Graber (William) of Roseville; and her siblings, Don Gehring of San Diego and Marianne Harmon of San Diego. She is also survived by her grandchildren, nephew and niece.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Placer SPCA (placerspca.org).

Loved to share her stories and listen to others about their pets. She is now with the Lord; the for ever home.”
