He was predeceased by: his parents, Donald R. Sr. Haines and Marion "Molly" Haines (Walton). He is survived by: his sisters, Susan Johnston (Bruce) of Mansfield Center, CT and Bonny Haines of Granite Bay, CA. He is also survived by two nephews; one niece.
