He was predeceased by: his parents, Vernon Nix and Maude Nix; and his wife Patricia Arthur (Pat). He is survived by: his children, Deborah Nix-Carlson (Rick), Roy Nix Jr. (Zita), Carolyn Kuenning and Lindy Ward (Steve). He is also survived by his 12 grandchildren and 26 great-grandchildren.
