He is survived by: his wife Ruth Edling Luter; his daughter Mary Ellen Watterson (Michael); his granddaughter Scarlett James; his daughter-in-law Keri; and his grandchildren-in-law, Jacob and Kaden. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
