Athanasia Pozirekides Obituary

We are sad to announce that on August 17, 2020, at the age of 88, Athanasia Pozirekides of Granada Hills, California passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her husband Peter Pozirekides (Panayiotis). She is survived by: her sisters, Efrosini Papathanasiou and Irini Papakosta (Taki); her children, Pandora Randall (David), Simon Pozirekides, Lefkothea Horner (Scott), Afroditi Lawson (Mitchell) and Dimitra Semponis; and her great grandchildren, Emilia, Cassie Chan, Evangelene, Zayle Karagianis and Nadia Randall. She is also survived by Mom.

Due to the Pandemic and the current restrictions imposed by California government officials, The funeral service will be held Friday August 21 at 10am, graveside at Oakwood Cemetery in Chatsworth, CA.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her honor to St. Nicholas Greek Orthodox Church, Northridge.
