He was predeceased by: his parents, Susie Fellows and Howard Fellows; his wife Jean; his son Howard; and his siblings, Bob, Patricia and Joleen.

He is survived by: his children, Gordon (Sharon) and Jennifer Nelson (David). He is also survived by six grandchildren, and seven great grandchildren.
