He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Silva Sr. and Dorothy Phillips; and his son Timothy Silva. He is survived by: his wife Evelina; his children, Theresa Amaral (Joe) and John Silva (Susan); his grandchildren, Leslie Amaral, Ashley Foldes (Danny), Dominic Silva, Sebastian Silva, Sophia Silva, Brandon Silva (Julissa), Scott Silva (Janae) and Tamara Tillery (Adam); and his sisters, Janet Lewis (late Marvin) and Yvonne Morisoli (David).
Visitation was held on Sunday, December 1st 2024 from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Alta Vista Mortuary (41 E Alisal St, Salinas, CA 93901). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, January 25th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Amaral Barn.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, St. Theodore's Church in Gonzales, CA, or St. Joseph's Church in Spreckels, CA, in memory of Edward Silva Jr..
