He was predeceased by: his parents, Fredda May Isett and John Fay McElwee, Sr.. He is survived by: his wife Joy Obrock McElwee; his sons, James Barry McElwee and John David McElwee; his grandchildren, Allison McElwee and Scott McElwee; and also, Suzanne Bigham McElwee and Kymberle Landry McElwee.

After a recent diagnosis of Parkinson's Disease followed by a severe fall, Jack McElwee began his final journey.
