He is survived by: his wife Joan Shannahan; his children, Timothy (Barbara Cleary), Maureen and Patrick (Sylvia Cleary); his siblings, John Cleary of Sacramento, CA, Mary Brown of San Diego, CA, Jerry Cleary of Olivehurst, CA, Marian Graham of Upland, CA and Regina; and his grandchildren, Kevin, Mary Ellen, Brendan, Monica, Lauren and Jeannine. He is also survived by five great grandchildren.
