He was loved and cherished by many people including: his spouse Paula Barberi McDermott; his children, Ashley, Kade and Kennedy McDermott of Gilroy; his parents, Loretta McDermott and John McDermott of Hollister; his siblings, John McDermott (Barbara) of Stockton, Kelly McDermott (Mary) of Salinas, Shawn Moen (Randy) of Gilroy and Clancy White (Brad) of Deer Park, WA.; and his pet Duke. He was also cherished by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
