She was predeceased by: her parents, Nick Meccariello and Michelina Meccariello; and her siblings, Pasquale "Patsy" Meccariello, Palma Esteves (Pedro), Giacomo "Jack" Meccariello (Ann), Costantino "Gus" Meccariello (Angie), Nicola "Nick" and Giorgio "Lindy" Meccariello (Doris).
She is survived by: her husband Antonio Edmond Hamel, Sr. (Tony); and her children, Lisa Plumb (Brad), Sylvia, Antonio Hamel Jr. (Lani) and Mary Jean Hamel (Danny Feikin). She is also survived by children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and many friends.
Do to the current circumstances around the COVID-19 Pandemic, the funeral services will be private.
The family asks that any donations in Mary's memory to go to Maryknoll Society a charity that was dear.
