She was predeceased by: her husband Chester Tortia. She is survived by: her children, Debbie Urdiales (Lupe), Karen Aguilar (Gilbert), Johnny Tortia (Cookie) and Vincent Tortia. She is also survived by four grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers the family asks for donations to St. Jude Children's Hospital.
