He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph and Agnes; his siblings, Emil and Jarmila; his wife Mildred Irene Plicka; and his daughter Judith Plicka.

He is survived by: his children, Joseph Lee (Sally), Susan (Ken), Patrick (Alyssa), Timothy (Brenda) and Judy. He is also survived by 6 grandchildren & 17 great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, a donation in Joseph's memory may be made to Beth-El Baptist Church or preferred charity.
