He was predeceased by: his parents, Jess Ruiz and Elisa Ruiz. He is survived by: his children, David Ruiz and Amanda Ruiz; and his brothers, Robert Ruiz (Julie) and Michael Ruiz (Janean). He is also survived by one grandson and five nieces and nephews.
