He was loved and cherished by many people including: his grandfathers, Americo Ciabattari and Serafino Giretti; his friends, Italian, Bagna Càuda and Piemontese; his parents, Harry Giretti and Linda Giretti; his former wife Judy Lee Giretti; his brother-in-law Robert Dennis; his close friend Kristine Dillon; his daughters, Tammy Minolli and Hydie McDonald (Steve); his grandchildren, Matthew Minolli (Alex), Terra Minolli (Bruce), Jacob and Londa McDonald; his great grandchildren, Olive and Elias Minolli; and his sisters, Diane Robinson (Winn) and Karen Dennis.
