She was predeceased by: her son Paul; her siblings, John Ogata (late Cora), Mary Yoshikawa (late Frank), Josie Hoshiko (late Aki), Frank Ogata (late Kiyo), Mas Ogata (Michi), Dorothy Horino (Tad), Betty Ogata, Molly Miyamoto (late Roy), Hank Ogata (late Sumi) and George Ogata; her parents, Tani Ogata and Jirokichi Ogata; and her husband William Iwanaga.
She is survived by: her sisters, Rosie Yamaji (late Haruo) and Emily Nakamoto (Seiji); her son David Iwanaga (Cynthia); her daughter-in-law Teri Hinmon; her children, Lisa Sheedy (David), Jeffrey, Glenn and Warren; her grandchildren, Lauren Mantani (Matthew), Trevor, Harkin Sheedy, Jackie Ross (Gordon), Mekala Atkinson (James), Damon, Stephen, Brent and Justin Iwanaga; and her great grandchildren, Mason, Ashlyn, Kayley Mantani, William Atkinson and Enzo Ross. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
