He is survived by: his children, Bea Gorena (Joe), Hank Ruiz and Gloria Ramirez (Vinnie); his grandchildren, John Gorena (Carol), Jacquelyn Gorena and Jacob Gorena; his great grandchild Jade Gorena; and his sister Irma Batrez (Rudy). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
