He was predeceased by: his wife Caroline; his parents, Jim Hastings and Alma Hastings; and his siblings, Frances McKay, Bud, Bob, Dick, Herb and Bill Hastings.
He is survived by: his children, John (Eloise), Cindy (Dave) and Mary (Dick); his grandchildren, Kyle, Justin, Amy, Michael, Christopher, Matthew, Sebastian, Peter and Abigail; and his brother Ed Hastings of West Linn, Oregon.. He is also survived by seven great grandchildren.
