He was predeceased by: his parents, Vance Tucker and Edna May Atwood Tucker; his siblings, Douglas, Gerald, Ben, Ted, William, Mae and Dorrine; and his significant other Pauline.

He is survived by: his sons, Vance Vardell Tucker (Cathy) and Richard Tucker (Audrey); and his grandchildren, Casey Curran (Brian), Carrey Brown (Chad), Monte Tucker (Jessica), Benjamin Tucker (Cami), Seth Tucker (Chantel), Danielle Arter (Jayson), Erin Justesen (Ben) and Jesse Tucker (Camry). He is also survived by 38 great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
