We are sad to announce that on April 23, 2020, Umeko Nozawa (Gardena, California) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her husband Dick Nozawa. She is survived by: her children, Diane Handley (Paul), Irene Freitas and Dennis Nozawa (Emmy); her grandsons, Brett, Cory (Wendy), Kyle Freitas (Christine) and Bailey Nozawa; her great grandchild Kenji Freitas; her son-in-law Keith Freitas; and her sister Miya Tanaka (George). She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and other relatives.
