He is survived by: his children, Jody Nakashima (John), Gary Ishii and Lisa Brookman (Kevin); his granddaughters, Jessica Nakashima and Rachael Ishii; his great grandchildren, Brooklyn Bahde and Adeline Bahde; his siblings, Chizuko Minami and Takeshi Ishii (Kathleen); and his sister-in-law Kinuko Yanagihara. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
