It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Robert Horii of Gardena, California, born in Redondo Beach, California, who passed away on January 25, 2021, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Rikimatsu Horii and Konobu Horii of Hiroshima, Japan.; his siblings, Helen, Mary, George, Howard and Jim; his wife Mary; his sons, Dwayne (Galena) and Brian (Thea); his grandchildren, Veronica, Ross Miller, Rina and Kevin Horii; and his siblings, Louise Kawamoto and Harry Horii. He was also cherished by many nieces, nephews, grand nieces and nephews.
The family suggests that in lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Gardena Valley Japanese Cultural Institute.
